Our family adopted our first retired Havanese in 1994. Patti was a delightful old gal, she won our hearts over in a minute. The kids were 6 and 9 years old then, and we spent most of our time at soccer games, PTA meeting or friendly gatherings with her. Patti was a wonderful addition to the family, and as most find out...one is never enough!
We were blessed with another puppy in 1995. Jazz was a happy, bouncing bundle of love. She quickly became the favorite of our children and their friends. She has a unique positive energy that makes everyone feel special.
As my kids grew up, I began searching for a hobby for myself. Coming from a family that was active in showing and breeding Persian cats and Collies, it was natural that I leaned toward involvement in animals. I was "Miss Doolittle" as a child, always loving some type of animal. We had a variety while living on a small farm.
With some wonderful mentors to guide me, I started showing my dogs. I immediatly took to the ring, having a wonderful time with my dogs and new friends.
I was hooked!
Our kids did some showing too, enjoying it while they were younger. They both have grown up and found new interest, but occasionally still will show with me.
I feel the most important thing for any  breeder to do is to health screen their dogs. Without testing, you are being irresponsible to your own pet and any offspring you produce. You can't predict what you will produce, but you can know that you have done all you can to ensure the health of future generations.

We CERF annually all dogs. We also BAER hearing test all adults and pups. All adult dogs are tested for liver function with a bile acid test, thyroid, CBC and Chem 25 before breeding. We also OFA hips and have patellas certified by our Veterinarian.  We provide proof of all health testing to our puppy owners. Health is guaranteed by contract. We stand behind what we produce.

We are members in good standing with
